Becky Workman

The insurance industry is honestly one of the best industries to work in. I’m able to really get to know my clients because I work with them from the start of the quote process all the way into the application and life of their policy. I love being able to help them with whatever they need — making payments, helping with claims, or adjusting the policy.

Early on in my career, I spent some time working at a locally owned lumber yard where I learned about construction and building materials. However, I knew from an early age that I wanted to be in insurance. As a senior, I did a mock interview for my desired profession (insurance, of course!) and met the current owner of CIA-Leavitt Insurance. When the office had an opening a short time later, the owner remembered me and reached out, asking for my application.

I grew up in Sterling, Colorado and attended Northeastern Junior College to earn my associate degree. While I was there, I started at the agency and began the licensing process. I now have my Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR), and Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designations and am actively working on two others. I enjoy learning more about the industry and the intricate details of different policies.

My husband, Todd, and I have a daughter and a son. Shortly after our daughter was born, we moved to Haxtun, Colorado because we wanted to raise our children in a smaller community. When I’m not attending the high school sporting events and fundraisers, I enjoy running, biking, fishing, and generally being outdoor (except for when it’s cold)! I live my life each day knowing that, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:13
