Miggie Trevino

I've been in the insurance industry for over 20 years focusing on employee benefits. I started out in customer service, then gained experience in marketing, which I did for six years. I also spent two years working for a third-party administrator, where I developed valuable experience in health reimbursement accounts, partial self-funded, and self-funded plans.

I eventually made my way back to the broker side, where I have been leading and building benefits divisions for agencies for the past 10 years. I take pride in supporting clients and providing resources with the ever-evolving changes in health care such as ACA Compliance, ERISA Compliance, and HR support.

My clients know that I am trustworthy and will always go above and beyond for them, as well as their employees. I’m passionate about building strong relationships and partnerships. I aspire to partner with my clients for a lifetime, not just for a season.

My mantra in life is from Mother Theresa, “Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier. Be the living expression of God's kindness: kindness in your face, kindness in your eyes, kindness in your smile.” Serving in the community is integral in my life. I'm on the board of New Hope for Youth, which helps at-risk youth in our community. I’m also the director of CWC "Arise" Ladies Ministry at my church where my passion is helping women that are struggling in life to live their best life and know their value.

I’m a single mom with four children and one grandchild. I love baking, cooking and eating Mexican food, and spending time with my family. Our favorite local spots are Monterey and Carmel. We love hiking and a good family road trip!
