Leavitt feels like home.  When telling people my story, I always start it out with I have basically grew up with Leavitt.  I began 10 years ago when our office was maybe 20 people total including agents with braces on my teeth.  So many major life events have happened with this company including getting married, having a baby and purchasing my first home.  Leavitt is not just my place of work, it is my family.

After high school I studied business at Bismarck State College.  I quickly found out that college was not my primary focus, work was.  At that time I was working at a small bank and thought for sure I would be in the banking field forever.  I ended up having to move for family reasons to the Rapid City area and landed in Sturgis.  Here I worked at a much larger financial company and quickly found out our morals did not align.  Leavitt then fell in my lap.  I never thought I would end up in insurance but it seems that is how most of us get here, through family or it falling in your lap.  I quickly found out how much I loved Leavitt & the insurance industry.  I like to say I started at the bottom and worked my way to the top, now as an agent.  Working every job in this business, I know the timing and customer service expectation.  I take pride in my team, knowing they have the same quality of expectations.

Little personal blurb about me.  I grew up in Isabel, SD, fun fact this town currently has a population of just under 100.  I am the oldest of 5 children.  My husband, Jake, and I are raising three amazing children and reside in Sturgis.  I love to attend local concerts, makeup, St. Patrick’s day, the famous Sturgis Rally, reading, and cooking.
