About Bob
I am a managing partner at Leavitt Group Northwest. With my business partner, Bill Cowart, we founded the Professional Financial Group (PFG) in 1989. We purchased HBT in 1993. Building from the foundation of the previous owners, we set out to create a community-centered insurance business dedicated to building strong relationships with its customers. HBT grew into a regional insurance provider as a member of the Advantage Group, with a focus on service and value for our clients. Merging with Leavitt Group in 2018 gave us even more ways to help our clients.
I am a main street generalist with 30 years of experience in manufacturing, retailing, and transportation insurance. From coverage analysis, hands-on risk management, and placement for all lines of commercial insurance to management of personal insurance portfolios, I have a one-to-one business relationship with my customers. My clients see and appreciate my desire to take care of them.
Raised in Auburn, I am active in local professional and community organizations. I have been a member of the Auburn Rotary since 1993 and served as president in 2012-2013. My family has been in business in the Auburn area since the 1920s.
I married my high school sweetheart and we are the parents of two sons. I love everything outdoors, especially Alaska. One of my greatest joys is taking someone fishing and seeing them catch a fish. I also enjoy watching the Seahawks, bowhunting, and waterfowl hunting.
