I like to say I didn’t choose insurance; insurance chose me. I have been with Islanders Insurance—now part of Leavitt Group Northwest—for 16 years and earned my agent license in 2017.

Insurance can be overwhelming and sometimes brings out the worst in people, so I strive to explain it simply to my clients who don’t frequently see the details of it like I do. Many clients have expressed their gratitude for the time and energy I have given them, and that makes me feel like I’m doing it right.

I’ve been married to my best friend for 26 years. My husband is a wonderful, supportive human being who enhances my quality of life with his kindness and honesty. We love our community and the wonderful people and businesses that are here.

When I’m not working, I enjoy early morning walks on the beach with my husband and cooking and modifying recipes. I also love getting up right before dawn to sit on my porch and listen to the birds while I watch the foxes, raccoons, and deer.
