Shellie Eubanks-Highet

Shellie has been in the insurance industry since 1979 and with North Cascade Insurance (formerly Smiley Insurance Services) since 1995. One thing that sets us apart is our dedication to answering the phone with a real person. We don’t use service or call centers to help manage our accounts — you can walk into our office or give us a call to talk directly with an agent.

Shellie is a member of the Skagit/Island Counties Builders Association (SICBA), previously serving on their board and several committees over the past 25 years. She currently serves on the executive board as treasurer of the Skagit Community Foundation, and is a member of the Swinomish and Chuckanut Yacht Clubs.

Shellie has been named a Safeco Elite Agent, and has received the SICBA Volunteer of the Year award and The Advantage Group Founders Award. She has also earned the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.

Shellie is a lifelong resident of Burlington, Washington, and graduated from Burlington-Edison High School. She later attended Western Washington University where she majored in business administration with a minor in accounting.

Shellie has a son, Jay, and two stepsons, Ian and Andy. She also has a chocolate lab named Aspen. She and her husband have a great group of friends and enjoy traveling, boating, camping on their property in Mazama, and spending time at their house in Arizona.
