David Perez

I am originally from Salinas and moved to Sacramento in 2004. While there, I worked for one of the largest vision insurance companies in the US for 12 years. During my time there, I worked with small groups, members, and doctors. I helped members understand their vision plans, collaborated with brokers to get quotes, and in my final role, focused on sales, supporting a book of business worth over $1.2 million across more than 140 offices. I love meeting new people and thrive on building lasting relationships.

In 2022, I moved back to Salinas to be with my family and close friends. I have two dogs: Layla, a 38-pound Pitbull/Bulldog mix, and Lucy, a six-pound Shih Tzu who loves to terrorize us all. I love my fur babies; the unconditional love they give me is incomparable. I love being a doggie daddy, camping, live music, attending car shows, and relaxing at the beach.

Joining the Leavitt family in 2023 has been one of the best decisions I've made. My work family here is loving, patient, caring, and incredibly knowledgeable. I received my insurance license for accident, sickness, health, and life in November 2024. I am excited to see what the future holds for me here.
