Denise O'Laughlin

With over 15 years of HR experience in various industries from large and small employee populations and a ton of personalities in between, I've learned a few things.

Everyone is different—we all have different needs. As a benefits broker and former human resource leader, I have a deep understanding of employee benefits from both the business and human sides.

I take a consultative approach in employee benefits, assisting both human resources and finance with cost containment, creating efficiencies, and adding value. I quickly assess and quantify the cost, efficiently mitigating risk and negotiating the carriers' best pricing.

In our ever-changing world of compliance, I keep my clients informed, educated, and protected. Together, we create solutions.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Master of Science in Human Resources and Organizational Development from the University of San Francisco. I take pride in actively participating in my community. I am currently a Board Member for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Monterey County and Treasurer for CCHRA (Central Coast Human Resources Association)

I have lived on the Central Coast for 25+ years with my husband, Neill. We have two grown children. In my free time I enjoy walking my Labrador Retrievers, Vinnie and Silvio, spending time with family and traveling. My happy place is the swimming pool.
