Debbie Godbee

My personal motto is one I used to tell my girls when they were growing up. “Life is too short to dance with ugly cowboys!” I’m not talking about the way someone looks, but what is in their heart. If they don’t treat others right, then don’t waste your time. You are who you ride with, so pick your friends carefully, always be honest, and do right by folks even if they don’t do right by you. 

I strive to be respectful and encouraging to our clients and always educate them on what they’re buying so they make an informed decision. The insurance industry is like a superhighway, so I take time to thoroughly explain coverages. I ensure clients can choose the policy they want and the premium that suits their needs. 

I grew up in Houston and graduated from College of the Mainland with an Associate of Business Management. My husband and I live in Sugar Land and are very active in the community. I volunteer in the children’s ministry at Sugar Creek Baptist Church and have completed Fort Bend County’s community emergency response training. I also graduated from Fort Bend County Sheriff’s and Sugar Land City’s Citizens Policy Academies, and act as a community assistance support team member for the Sugar Land P.D. 

I like to stay busy, so when I’m not working or volunteering, I do crafts, read, spend time with friends, and hang out with my two daughters, my two amazing grandchildren, and my three grand-dogs. My favorite spot to eat depends on what I’m craving; for Mexican, the Lopez Mexican Restaurant; for BBQ, Witt’s Pitt; a burger, Beck’s Prime; and for the best steak, Taste of Texas.
