About Valentina
I joined Leavitt United in March 2016 as a commercial insurance account manager. I started my insurance career in 1986 as a file clerk working for a local agency. I also worked for a national insurance company as a commercial rater/broker. In 1997, I earned my property and casualty license. I’m constantly striving to improve and find better ways to help my clients and have received several customer service awards.
I was born and raised in Nicaragua and earned my associate degree in agricultural business administration from Universidad Centro Americana (UCA) while working full time. Due to political struggles in my native country, my mother, sister, and I emigrated to the United States in 1984, where I learned English while working odd jobs and building a new life.
I love spending time with family and friends. I help the Nicaragua community and my extended family as much as I can. My husband and I have two adult children. I also enjoy reading, crocheting, watching movies, and traveling with my husband whenever possible.
