Chuck Wasson

I’ve been in the insurance industry since 1989, when I started as an adjuster—an experience that gave me a strong foundation in claims and risk management. In fact, my last two months as an adjuster were spent working Hurricane Andrew claims, which gave me a firsthand look at the importance of having the right coverage in place. In 1992, I joined the family agency, and I’ve been helping clients protect what matters most ever since.

What I love most about my job is getting to know my clients on a personal level. Building those relationships and truly understanding the challenges they face allows me to guide them in a more meaningful way. My approach is educational; I take the time to explain potential risks and how the right insurance coverage can protect against them, especially for business owners.

I grew up in Pinellas Park and graduated from Gibbs High School. I started college at what was then St. Pete Junior College and later earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida—go Gators!

When I’m not working, I love vacationing with my wife, Wendy. Now that our two daughters are grown, we’ve been enjoying cruises more often. I’m also a big fan of CrossFit and have been making an effort to get back into playing more golf.
