Jason Ellingson

I’ve always had the desire to collaborate professionally with my friend Spencer Gordon, and fate finally aligned in the fall of 2023. Previously, I served as an account manager at an independent technology company, a role that allowed me to refine my leadership abilities and learn the value of building relationships. My approach as a Commercial Insurance Account Manager is centered on offering personalized support to both clients and our team.

I pursed my education in business at Colorado Technical University, earning a BS in Business Administration. My upbringing was rooted in the charm of Mt. Angel, Oregon, but life led me through various places like the Philippines, Idaho, and California. My wife and I have been married for 18 years, and have been blessed with three children. Together, we enjoy board games and exploring the Oregon coast. 

Beyond insurance, my passion lies in the kitchen. I take pride in mastering the art of cooking, baking, and authentic Southern-style BBQ. If there’s one dish that steals the show, it’s my fried chicken – a smoked, buttermilk marinated delight, double-dredged and served with a touch of hot honey. I also relish exploring local eateries, like Sumin’s in Coos Ba, for their amazing shrimp and mango rolls.

Community is at the heart of everything I do. With my wife being a dedicated schoolteacher, we’re deeply involved in our local scene. It’s the friendly, safe environment that makes raising our kids here an absolute joy, a community I’m proud to call home. Our favorite spot, Sunset Beach, holds our hearts and is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the end of the day.
