Guy Cottino

I've been in the insurance industry for more than 34 years, beginning as an insurance fraud investigator with  the Nevada Insurance Commission. I purchased a small personal lines agency in 1981 that ultimately merged with Leavitt Insurance Agency in 1998. That merger was the best career move of my life. I have been a commercial agent exclusively since that time.

I focus on establishing close relationships and building trust with my clients. Most of my clients have been with me for at least 10 years, several for over 30 years. I enjoy doing public entity business and recently secured a 5-year renewal contract with Clark County Nevada for 2020-2025 after fulfilling two prior 5-year contracts.

I graduated with bachelor’s degree in education from UNLV and I have the professional designation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC)

I have been married for over 51 years to my wife, Paula, and we have five children and 12 grandchildren that keep us busy. I love being with them in the mountains and at their activities, which seem unending. I love to fish and usually end up in Utah several times a year to do that.
