Employee and Leadership Training

Employee and leadership training is a vital way to support our goal of supporting different perspectives and backgrounds in our workforce. We are proud to support our local Iron Leaders Academy (ILA) through Southern Utah University. This program provides foundational knowledge to contribute to positive change in our area while experiencing a unique opportunity to connect with diverse groups and organizations.

Women’s Leadership Institute

We are proud to support Women’s Leadership Institute. The mission of the Women’s Leadership Institute is to elevate the stature of women’s leadership in Utah by improving society’s understanding of the value of diversity in leadership roles, training women in leadership skills, and conveying the positive impact female leaders have on economic development, vitality, and the overall health of the state.

Pit Crew Training

The pit crew training taught employees from across the company valuable skills in leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving.

Participating in ILA helped me to break down the barriers I inadvertently put around myself to give me an opportunity to see different aspects of our community that I never would have seen or had a chance to understand on my own.

As a founding member of the ILA board, I was fully bought into its mission. Though I already carried with me a belief in the need for civil discourse, respectful expression of differing opinions, and the need for diverse backgrounds, I was still surprised at how quickly it all came to light at the board level. I’m proud to have been, and continue to be, a part of this important vision.

Iron Leaders Academy (ILA) brought me up close and personal with programs, businesses, and people outside my typical circle. It was eye opening! I saw a new perspective and felt a tremendous sense of gratitude for who we are as a diverse community.

I have loved attending the Women’s Leadership Institute Rising Leaders Series. I have appreciated the opportunity to learn more about myself, how I learn, and how those learning styles impact the relationships we have in the workplace. I’ve learned how to be a better employee and a better teammate. After participating in the monthly training session, I started to notice what I’ve learned come into play. I approach my professional relationships with new tools that help me advocate for myself and others, in a way that hopefully helps us all pay closer attention to the small things we can do to build a better workplace for everyone.

By connecting me with talented men and women in Utah, it’s allowed me to connect with top leaders across the state and learn from their experiences and knowledge.
