Jorie Matheson

As senior project manager of affiliations at Leavitt Group, I act as the tour guide for agencies looking to partner with Leavitt Group. Once you’ve decided this may be the path for you, my team will engage to kick off the adventure!

Since 2019 I have collaborated with both new and established Leavitt Group agencies to integrate new affiliates into our organization. My role in the process of acquiring new agencies is to ensure each project meets its deadlines and complies with all necessary legal and internal standards.  

The most rewarding part of my role is meeting and developing relationships with our new partners.

My career began in Las Vegas, working in corporate finance for the world’s largest casino company. As time went on, and my personal situation evolved, I now value working for a company with a strong family culture and a focus on balancing all the different priorities I have in my life.

Outside of Work

I married my high school sweetheart, and we love to attend football and hockey games. We have three children who we enjoy taking to Disneyland for vacation, or any outdoor adventures. Being a mom is my absolute favorite calling in life!

You can find my little family recreating whenever we get the chance. Whether it be trail riding in the mountains or deserts of Utah, camping in the trailer that my husband and I restored, or spending the day fishing on the lake.

I like trying and learning new things as well as helping my young kids find their talents. I’m passionate about supporting small businesses and aspire to be a beekeeper soon.

Education

I received a Bachelor of Finance from Southern Utah University and earned my Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
