Henry and Al Koetje opened Koetje Insurance in 1947, then merged Koetje Insurance with Leavitt Group Northwest in 2012. Joining Leavitt Group allowed us to remain local, while adding nationally recognized companies and a wealth of insurance resources. This means we can provide comprehensive coverage with competitive pricing.

For many years our office has been involved in the community and we take pride in our local connections. Over the past 30 years our employees have held positions on the board of directors for the Oak Harbor & Coupeville Chambers of Commerce, Soroptimist International, and various other community organizations.

Every year, we collect clothing and gifts for children and seniors in need during the holidays. We also regularly volunteer at our neighborhood schools and other community events. To date, we have donated over 3,700 books to local students to encourage family time and reading.
