Jeremy Hermsmeyer

I've been in the property and casualty insurance industry for the better part of a decade. I started off servicing commercial insurance policies, transitioned to inside sales, and then became a personal lines account manager.

I am customer focused and strive to provide world-class service. I'm very detail-oriented and consistently aim to do the right thing for our clients. My goal is to exceed my client’s expectations.

I moved to Nevada in 2019 and worked for a couple of agencies before I discovered Ferguson-Leavitt was hiring a personal lines account manager. I jumped at the chance to work for Leavitt United Insurance Services and applied right away. Ferguson-Leavitt is an amazing agency and I'm thankful to be part of the team.

I grew up in Los Altos Hills, a small town in the San Francisco Bay area. I studied electrical engineering at Chico State, then transferred so San Jose State and pursued a B.S. in Finance. I also received an Associates in General Insurance designation (AINS) from The Institutes in 2015.

I lived in various places throughout California prior to moving to Gardnerville, and I’m happy to be living in a small, rural community. My hobbies include hiking in the Sierras, camping, fishing, playing the drums, and building computers. I also enjoy road trips throughout the western U.S. to visit friends and family and spend quite a bit of time riding dirt bikes and target shooting in Tahoe National Forest with my brother.
