Cathy South

Cathy is a commercial insurance oil and gas assistant account manager with Leavitt Group in Billings, Montana. She joined the team in August 2016.

Cathy started her insurance career in 2001, becoming licensed in life and health insurance. In 2004, she became licensed in property/casualty and went to work for an agency in their commercial insurance department.

Cathy went back to school in 2005 and earned her associate's degree. She moved to the Billings area from Helena in August of 2015 and worked as a personal insurance advisor prior to becoming employed at Leavitt Group. Cathy recently earned her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation. She truly enjoys being part of the Leavitt team!

Cathy was raised in the country in Townsend, Montana, along with her five siblings. She has two sons. Taylor is a graduate of Carroll College and is attending the University of Colorado to pursue his dream of becoming a doctor. Chase graduated from Montana State University with a degree in civil engineering.

Cathy enjoys spending quality time with Taylor and Chase (and her entire family). She enjoys outdoor activities including horseback riding, fishing, hiking, camping, long walks with her mini Aussie (Jesse), and working in the yard.
