Leorra Nickol

I have been in Shelby for 27 years. I worked at Town Pump when I first came to town as a cashier/deli worker. Then I ran my own daycare for 11 years and I was able to stay at home with my children. They got older and left for school, so I followed them to the elementary school and worked there as a one-on-one aide with handicapped children in the special education room for eight years. I had a blast with those kids and learned so much from them.

Then my children got older and I had one graduate so I graduated also and became a mentor manager at Youth Dynamics here in Shelby. After two years it was time for a change and I was ready to enter the “adult world”, and here I am. I am administrative support for Travis Clark at our Shelby office. I also answer incoming calls and whatever other tasks come my way.

I have a husband who farms in the area and we stay busy with that. We also have two daughters: Kendra, who is busy at Rocky Mountain College working to achieve her doctorate in occupational therapy. My other daughter is Karlie; she is enjoying working as an admin for a CPA firm in Great Falls. I also have an adorable granddaughter, Orra, who is the light of my life!
