Cortney Jones

There is nothing better than helping those around you become successful in life. I began my career in the insurance industry in 2003 in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Focusing on large construction companies, commercial insurance, and workers compensation coverages gave me a vast knowledge and background to help many of the clients that I serve today.  I joined the Archibald Leavitt organization in 2010 and love working with such a great team that is like a second family.

I was born and raised in Ashton, Idaho, and grew up working in the agricultural industry, so agriculture has become part of my life. Along with focusing on agricultural insurance, my wife and I have a cow/calf operation with around 100 black angus cows. I have so many fond memories of my youth—working in the potato harvest, rouging potatoes on horseback and on foot, and helping my grandpa during calving season. I understand what it takes to be a successful farmer or rancher. 

My knowledge of the agricultural industry and high level of service is why my clients do business with me. The federal crop insurance program is very complex and helping clients navigate their options is important. They trust the information I give them and it helps them sleep at night.
