Darrel Krajnik

For most of my professional life, I have worked as a safety and loss control agent. I started off at Sorrento Lactalis as a safety engineer intern, then spent three years as an OSHA consultant at Boise State University. Before my current position with Leavitt Group of Boise, I was a safety manager for a local manufacturing company.

I decided to join Leavitt Group because they gave me the opportunity to help a lot of different companies reduce accidents and make their work environments safer. I am an OSHA-authorized instructor, and I’m good at what I do because I have an attention to detail and am great at making observations.

I’m an Idaho native! I grew up on a farm in Nampa, Idaho, and graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational and Environmental Health. One of my favorite pastimes is salmon and steelhead fishing in Riggins, Idaho. I also enjoy hunting and hiking — really anything that lets me be outdoors. My favorite restaurant is Holy Cow in Nampa. I always order the Sam Elliott burger. I also have a wonderful daughter who I love spending time with.

My favorite quote is, “We get the warhead, and we hold the world ransom for… ONE MILLION DOLLARS!” Do you know what movie it’s from?
