Jeff Scott

My insurance career began in 1983 as a farm producer for McDonald Insurance. In 2000 we formed Premier Insurance, and I became one of five principals. I retired in 2006 but re-entered the business in 2017 with Alta Insurance.

My primary focus is personal service to all clients, large or small. We work hard at understanding our markets and what they offer and try to build solid relationships beyond business. The personal aspect of our agency sets us apart.

I grew up in Kimberly, Idaho, and attended Utah State University and the College of Southern Idaho. I serve on the board of the Twin Falls Rod and Gun Club and have been vice president of the Snake River Trapshooting Association for more than 10 years.

My wife and I have been married for over 50 years. We have two children and six grandchildren. My primary hobby is competitive trapshooting. I also enjoy hunting and spend a large amount of time in our yard.

My favorite local restaurant would have to be Jakers or Fiesta Ole — they’re both great! My favorite place to be (when time allows) is Island Park, Idaho. The quick access to outdoor recreation is what I love most about our community.
