My favorite quote is, “The 3 C's in life: choice, chance, change. You must make the choice, to take the chance, if you want anything in life to change.”

Before working in insurance, I had mainly an agricultural and construction background. I grew up running a variety of farming equipment and managing livestock on my family’s cattle and swine ranch. At a young age, I traveled all over the northwest as a laborer for a pipeline infrastructure inspection and rehabilitation company. Later on, after becoming a project superintendent, I worked for the city of Meridian where I managed, cleaned, and inspected the city’s wastewater system and wastewater reclamation plant.

I joined Leavitt Group as a commercial insurance risk manager because I wanted a change of pace. I had spent so much time traveling for work and I was at a place in life where I needed a better foundation for myself, and Leavitt Group offered that to me. One thing I really enjoy and do well is building relationships. I’m outgoing and love to meet new people! My hands-on experience in personal, equipment, and site safety ensures I can help my clients protect their businesses from risk.

I was born and raised in Emmett, Idaho, on my family’s ranch. I enjoy hunting, fishing, and exploring the incredible backcountry of Idaho. I also love everything about Boise — from the fantastic food and shopping in the downtown area, to the farmers markets and events all over town. Additionally, I enjoy participating in some of our local community groups, such as the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Ducks Unlimited, and Pheasants Forever. They are great foundations that support some of the largest outdoor conservation projects in the country.
