Colleen Stanton

I began my insurance career in 1996 as a receptionist for Workers Compensation Fund. From that starting point I became and worked as an underwriter for a total of 16 years. I was the underwriter for all Utah Leavitt Group agencies for part of that time and earned my Associate in Underwriting designation. In 2013 I left the carrier side, becoming an account manager for Leavitt Group Insurance Advisors. I am now an account manager, commercial insurance manager, and do the surety bonds for our agency.

We truly care about our customers and their insurance needs. Developing strong relationships is important so clients know we have their needs and best interests at the center of all we do. 

I grew up on a chicken farm in northeastern Pennsylvania. I left college to get married and had three children. I later went to work to help them through college; although I never completed my formal education, all three of my children graduated with honors. 

One of my favorite things is traveling to visit my children. My husband and I also love going on cruises. Zupas is our favorite local restaurant and we love our beautiful mountains, whether it’s gazing at them from the valley or driving through them. 

I’m a people person so taking care of our clients comes naturally to me. The motto I try to live by daily, and have hanging in my office, is, “How can I bring joy to someone’s day?”
